Do you want a dynamic and exciting career in the automotive industry? We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our busy body shop. You will gain the skills to accurately inspect and assess all elements of a motor vehicle that has sustained damage and requires repair.
What you will do:
In the role of Apprentice VDA you will join a team of professionals, on your learning journey to undertake the inspection ofdamaged vehicles, assessing the full extent of the damage, costs of repair and timeframes. An important aspect of this job is to identify the correct prescribed repair method and prepare, record and maintain records of electronic and manual estimates. You will then liaise effectively with insurance companies to obtain their authority to repair the vehicle at the costs estimated. You will also effectively liaise with customers engineers and technicians to explain and ensure they understand the repair methodology.
