We’re looking for our next Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic Rental Operations team! In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Northgate Senior Finance Business Partner to deliver insightful financial advice and analytical decision support to the UK Operations Director and their management team. By building robust relationships, you will act as a trusted adviser, significantly enhancing decision‑making processes to ensure the sustainable success of our business. Your ability to challenge the status quo and develop innovative solutions will be key to driving our company’s growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Northgate Senior Finance Business Partner to drive business performance improvements.
- Leverage analytical, commercial, and communication skills to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Perform performance analysis and enhance financial and KPI reporting frameworks.
- Lead the annual and periodic forecasting processes for Rental Operations.
- Provide comprehensive analytical support for Rental Operations, focusing on KPI and P&L performance analysis to optimise financial outcomes and FTE efficiency.
- Oversee monthly reporting, offering relevant insights and commentary on both financial and non‑financial performance indicators.
- Lead and develop a team of 1 qualified and 2 part‑qualified accountants.
Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) with business‑partnering experience.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of key business drivers.
- Experience establishing professional relationships with stakeholders of varying seniority and influencing them toward positive outcomes.
- Knowledge of vehicle rental or experience supporting a multi‑site operational function is advantageous but not essential.
