Join to apply for the YouTube Talent Manager role at Ziggurat XYZ Salary range: £34,400-£50,000 The Role Establishing and developing connections to further the agency’s reputation and actively build the quality and breadth of Ziggurat’s talent roster Overseeing negotiations and commercial discussions for advertising deals Establishing and maintaining the trust of clients and partners, as a critical friend and key advisor Supporting clients and managing teams in the delivery of initiatives ranging from channel and audience growth, content production, and product development, to wider revenue growth opportunities and business Being an exemplar of ethical business standards in the industry You will have the option to work fully remotely within the UK, be based at our office in the UK, or a hybrid version of the two. You will also need to travel to meet clients and attend events locally and overseas, depending on roster. We offer all staff 25 days annual leave excluding bank holidays, as well as inclusion in the company’s profit share scheme, and mental health insurance policy. The Candidate You may already be working in a talent agency looking to move to full-service, already work with creators but on the marketing side, or working more widely in the creator economy. Whatever your background, you will have a demonstrable interest in factual entertainment, have a high level of integrity and good judgment, and have unquestionable communication skills – you can charm and persuade. The opportunity to work with creators directly should excite you, and you might already have ideas of how you’d like to cultivate your own roster. You will have excellent negotiation skills - not thuggish, but confident in understanding the value of things. You need no network or “little black book”. You will need to be humble as to the role of a talent manager in the wider context of a client’s team and the team at Ziggurat: you will be ably supported by colleagues and assistants. The Company Ziggurat XYZ represents emerging and established names in digital media, providing a bespoke management service to YouTube creators as they grow and develop their audience, content, and businesses. Our clients all produce content broadly under the umbrella of factual entertainment. We generate ideas with scientists and engineers like Xyla Foxlin, Steve Mould, and Integza; drink coffee with James Hoffmann (and question everything we think we know about our daily cup), unpick layers of pop and internet culture with uncarley and Shanspeare, and re‑discover our love of learning with Answer in Progress. Together, our roster reaches an audience of hundreds of millions with an eclectic mix of interests and hobbies. Our team are a burgeoning gang of specialists. They are trusted advisors and industry experts to our clients and our office in the UK acts as a vibrant hub of global activity. Our building is a renovated Victorian brewery off of Northampton’s Creative Quarter. The location is 10 minutes’ walk from Northampton Rail Station, with connections up and down the Midland Mainline – 56 minutes from London Euston, 59 minutes from Birmingham New Street, and 15 minutes from Milton Keynes. It is also only 10 minutes from Junction 15 of the M1.
