Are you a detail-oriented freight professional with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service? Do you have experience of internal sales? If so, we would love to welcome you to our team at Ziegler UK – Felixstowe Branch. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, global logistics business where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of International freight for some of our most important clients.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and issue quotations for both new and existing customers, as well as overseas agents.
- Work closely with the Sales team to help identify opportunities and support business growth.
- Handle and coordinate Ocean Freight Shipments, including both LCL and FCL import & export.
- Manage Air Freight quotations and bookings both efficiently and accurately.
- Arrange and confirm bookings with carriers and service providers.
- Provide support to the field sales team where required, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 2 years experience in Ocean freight forwarding sales.
- Strong understanding of pricing weight/measure, incoterms, and freight cost calculations.
- Proactive and confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
