Are you a detail-oriented freight professional with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service? Do you have experience in handling enquiries for European road groupage services? If so, we’d love to welcome you to our team at Ziegler UK – London Gateway.
What You’ll Do:
- Handling enquiries via phone and email for groupage freight across Europe.
- Generate competitive quotations by sourcing the best available rates using all resources at your disposal.
- Communicate professionally with customers, overseas partners, suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth coordination.
- Support the wider sales team; you will predominantly work within a department of 8 people but will be part of a wider team of 49.
- Always deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in European Road Freight (groupage essential).
- Strong understanding of taxable kilos, incoterms, and freight cost calculations.
- Proactive and confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
