Fantastic role for a mid-level music lawyer, either someone who is currently working in the music team of a ranked practice, working in-house at a label or someone with a strong commercial background in a leading City law firm looking to make a switch to working as a music lawyer.
The superb music team at this leading media law firm acts for both established artists at the very highest level and new talent. They also act both for labels and artists, and with an impressive team to learn from, the new recruit will have the opportunity to develop working under the guidance of some of the best music lawyers around.
With opportunities to broaden your skillset, you will be given all the tools and support to progress your career. You will need to be an ambitious individual with an excellent academic background and strong drafting and commercial skills.
Supporting the work of the partners, you will be drafting and negotiating a range of agreements from management agreements, publishing deals, record deals, artist agreements through to live performance, merchandising, and sponsorship contracts. A familiarity with intellectual property law and a real desire and passion to specialize in this area of law is essential.
