A unique opportunity for a mid level non contentious commercial lawyer with a particular interest in intellectual property to join a vibrant, energetic boutique law firm in London. The role will involve working in a growing team for a range of high profile and often fast growth clients. Across the team and the firm there is a particular focus on the sport, media and entertainment, fashion and retail sectors.
You will be encouraged to take a key role in the team with room to make the role your own by getting involved in business development, client meetings and high quality work from the start. You will need to demonstrate experience in the drafting and negotiation of contracts, with particular experience in contracts with intellectual property, for example IP licensing, software, franchising and data processing agreements.
You will also be expected to identify relevant intellectual property rights, and ways in which businesses are able to protect, exploit and enforce them.
