Intellectual Property is at the heart and core of most of the work that is undertaken at this impressive London law firm.
The thriving IP team is headed by an inspiring, energetic and vibrant partner who works with a loyal and highly committed team of paralegals and trade mark attorneys. The team is responsible for European and worldwide brand protection, portfolio management and enforcement including trademark clearance, filing, prosecution, oppositions and invalidity actions.
Due to the volume of work, the team is now in need of a qualified IP lawyer, ideally between 3-7 years pqe or a senior trade mark attorney (with a similar level of qualification) and a brands focus. Given portfolios to manage with partner supervision and paralegal assistance, the new recruit will be able to push down the process elements of the work and focus on strategy and the contentious elements of the job.
Clients include fashion houses, large media companies and high profile music artists. With this eclectic, interesting and varied client base, no two days are ever the same and you’ll be given plenty of client contact, working with CEOs, CMOs, finance people and individuals.
Key attributes for the role are enthusiasm for the work, excellent organizational skills, a proactive approach, taking ownership and always wanting to go the “extra mile” for clients.
