A fantastic role for a versatile and adaptable employment lawyer who enjoys the full breadth of employment work, acting for employers, high net worth individuals and senior executives, and who wants to be in a small team working at the centre of all the employment work that comes in to this boutique firm.
Work includes:
- Reviewing and drafting employment agreements
- Advising on internal commercial reorganisations
- Handling internal disciplinary and grievance procedures
- High Court claims on anti-compete and post-termination restrictions
- Employment tribunal claims relating to unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing
The firm, a highly ranked media law firm, is the antithesis of a traditional law firm. Informal and relaxed, entrepreneurial and commercial, many of their lawyers are at the very top of their game, known as leading lawyers in their sectors.
The employment practice is run by two highly ranked partners supported by two associates. The partners are looking to recruit an employment lawyer who can demonstrate experience in handling a diverse range of employment matters from both an employer's and employee's perspective. Exposure and experience of handling employment tribunal litigation is essential and there will also be a small element of corporate support.
Working with corporates as well as individuals, you will have the opportunity to advise clients in some really interesting sectors, such as film and TV, theatre and music, with the possibility of really making your mark.
