About the role/n We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our logistics at Ziebe Ltd.
This is a varied, hands-on role in a busy warehouse environment. You will help ensure that stock is received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately and on time. The work is physically active and involves spending much of the day on your feet, moving and handling stock safely. About Ziebe Ltd.
Ziebe Ltd. is part of the Germany-based Förch Group. We supply automotive, commercial, agricultural, industrial, construction, engineering and marine products exclusively to trade customers. Working with leading suppliers, we distribute orders daily from our central logistics centre. Key responsibilities/n Receiving, checking and storing incoming stock Picking and packing customer orders accurately Preparing orders for dispatch
Replenishing stock and maintaining accurate stock levels
Reporting damaged or missing stock to the Warehouse Supervisor Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and well organised
Following warehouse procedures and health and safety requirements Supporting the wider team to meet daily targets and deadlines About you/n You will be a good fit for this role if you:
Are reliable, punctual and hard-working Work well as part of a team
Have a positive and adaptable approach
Can work accurately in a busy environment
Are comfortable carrying out physically demanding tasks Have basic literacy, numeracy and computer skills
Are willing to work flexibly when additional support is required
Previous warehouse experience is desirable, particularly in picking, packing, stock handling or order dispatch. Experience using WMS Sage and a forklift license would be an advantage but are not essential.
