ZG Recruitment is recruiting for a Support Practitioner to work alongside a great established team supporting children aged 8 to 17. This employer offers residential care services and provides comprehensive services, including 24/7 residential care, educational support, mental health support and therapeutic interventions. Currently, they have opened a home in Wellingborough, are opening a home in Northampton and plan to open more within the county when the time is right. The UK is experiencing an increasing demand for high-quality residential care services for children who are unable to live with their families due to various reasons including neglect, abuse or family breakdown. To address this growing need, this organisation aims to establish children's homes that will provide a safe and nurturing environment, promoting the overall well-being and development of the children in their care.
What this role requires:
- Great engagement with every child you care for.
- Complete passion and dedication to the work you carry out, knowing you are making the biggest difference to the children's lives.
- A ‘get up and go’ attitude - wanting to take the children out, supporting fun activities with them and generally be creative with your days.

Job outline:
- Responsible for the supervision of young people at a children’s home providing advice, care and stability for the children and young people ensuring they are treated equally and provided with equal opportunities on a daily basis.
- Liaising with external agencies, other departments within the company, Social Workers and other professionals.
