The Electronics Technology team consists of seven specialists dedicated to advancing core manufacturing and electronic technologies. The team is expected to grow rapidly in the near future to meet increasing global demands. We are looking for a PCB Technology Engineer to join the team and be responsible for providing technical support to the project teams in all aspects of PCB technology including specifications, qualification and knowledge.
What you can look forward to as PCB Technology Engineer:
- Evaluate and qualify new PCB technology
- Scan and understand industry technology
- Define PCB supplier strategy and PCB technology roadmap
- Support PCB supplier qualification and audit activities
- Define and drive common PCB design rules for fabrication
- Develop PCB design and technology guidelines
- Maintain harmonized PCB technical specification
- Assess technical elements of PCB supplier change requests (PCN)
- Support provision of PCB Technical Query (TQ) responses
- Provide PCB knowledge awareness
Your profile as PCB Technology Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Strong expertise in PCB design rules and best practices for manufacturability, reliability, and cost‑effective fabrication
- In depth knowledge of PCB fabrication materials and processes
- Hands on experience with Siemens EDA Xpedition or comparable PCB design tools
- Comprehensive knowledge on the full PCB Design cycle, Design for Testing / Fabrication & PCB Assembly
- Experience of multi-layer, sequential & HDI technology
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with global cross functional teams
- Strong oral and written communication skills, logical approach to problem solving, and openness to learning through feedback
