About the Team

The Electronics Technology team consists of seven specialists dedicated to advancing core manufacturing and electronic technologies. The team is expected to grow rapidly in the near future to meet increasing global demands. We are looking for an Electronic Component Engineer to join the team and manage as well as support the selection, qualification, and lifecycle of electronic components used in our Automotive products.

What you can look forward to as Electronic Component Engineer:

  • Select, evaluate, and approve electronic components (active and passive) to meet design, performance, and reliability requirements
  • Define and support component qualification, testing, and validation activities
  • Manage component lifecycle risks, including obsolescence, second sourcing, and supply continuity
  • Support design teams with technical guidance, alternatives, and best-practice component usage
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve technical issues and improve component performance
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain component data, documentation, and standards within internal systems
  • Work with Siemens EDM tools (or equivalent systems) to manage electronic component data, approvals, and lifecycle management

Your profile as Electronic Component Engineer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components (active and passive)
  • Experience with component selection, qualification, and lifecycle management
  • Knowledge of electronic suppliers and supply chain
  • Familiarity with Siemens EDM or similar component management tools
  • Good understanding of REACH and RoHS compliance regulations
  • Knowledge and understanding of quality, reliability, and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with global cross functional teams
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, logical problem solving abilities, and openness to learning through feedback
