About the Team
Working within a team of multi-skilled maintenance engineers to maximise machine uptime while minimising unplanned downtime. The department works on all areas of maintenance for the plant equipment and site and involves preventative and reactive maintenance on CNC machines, assembly processes, and robotics. The job role is for a night shift pattern with the site operating on a 24-hour basis with a permanent night shift.
What you can look forward to as Maintenance Engineer:
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies
- Respond to equipment breakdowns with thorough fault-finding (electrical and mechanical)
- Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on CNC machinery and assembly equipment
- Complete service tasks and documentation using the CMMS system
- Support all maintenance activities to meet departmental goals
- Contribute to and maintain 5S workplace organization standards
- Use SAP or other IT tools to record maintenance activities
- Assist in TPM/PPM follow-up actions and support continuous improvement initiatives
Your Profile as Maintenance Engineer:
- Completed apprenticeship in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics discipline; HNC qualification preferred
- Strong electrical bias preferred with proven mechanical skills; CNC and PLC experience highly valued
- Experience with KUKA or other industrial robotics is an advantage
- Solid IT skills, especially in MS Office and maintenance systems
- Hands-on experience in maintenance/engineering with a practical problem-solving approach
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative and respectful working style
- Willingness to support and mentor apprentices in their development
