You will be involved in delivering the next generation emergency service network, providing fast, safe and secure voice, video and data across the 4G network, giving first responders immediate access to life‑saving data, images and information in live situations and emergencies on the frontline.
About the Role
We are seeking a versatile Software Developer to design, develop, and deliver robust software solutions that power mission‑critical communications systems. You will join a collaborative agile team focused on ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability across diverse environments.
What You’ll Do
- Your contributions will include full‑cycle development covering analysis, design, implementation, testing, and integration and you’ll help shape the future of life‑saving communications technologies.
- You will be part of a development team that works using Agile methodology, taking part in stand‑ups, sprints and retrospectives.
- You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions that meet user requirements and business goals.
- You will write clean, efficient, and maintainable C# code for a WPF platform and participate in peer reviews and ensure adherence to high coding standards and best practices.
Required Experience
Zetron is currently recruiting for a Junior, Mid‑Level and Senior Software Developer. Therefore all levels of experience are encouraged to apply. You’ll have good skills in C#/.NET development and be familiar with WPF as a target platform. Experience within an Agile/Scrum environment would be highly advantageous. Any experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell would be advantageous, but not essential.
Zetron is seeking highly motivated professionals who want to contribute to our successful culture and become heavily invested in the future success of the company. These roles are hybrid and require developers to be onsite in Hull, for at least 2‑3 days per week. These roles will require Developers to be eligible for UK SC Security Clearance.
