A rare opportunity has arisen for a GP Vet to join our busy hospital clinic in an exciting and varied role, covering 4 days per week across our branches. Our caseload is diverse, interesting, and consistently challenging, providing excellent opportunities for professional development.
This role is primarily based at our Zetland Road Hospital, working a four‑day week (8:30 am‑6:30 pm), with 3 in 11 Saturdays. Saturday shifts include two at Zetland Road Hospital (8:30 am‑5:00 pm) and one at our Fishponds branch (9:00 am‑4:00 pm). This is a float position, covering shifts across our eight Bristol branches, offering a varied caseload with a mix of consulting and surgery. You’ll work across a hospital setting as well as smaller and medium‑sized practices, giving you excellent exposure and variety.
You’ll be joining a friendly, welcoming team across all eight sites, led by an experienced Clinical Director and several Senior Vets, many of whom have been with the practice for over a decade. You’ll receive plenty of support from experienced and approachable colleagues, including vets holding Certificates in Surgery and Small Animal Medicine. We also have certificates in progress, alongside a wealth of additional expertise in areas such as Behaviour, Herbal Medicine, and Acupuncture.
