ZETEC Recruitment is working with a well-established manufacturing business who are looking to add an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to their team. This is a days based role offering a great work-life balance within a stable and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and improving machinery across the site, ensuring minimal downtime, supporting production, and taking ownership of continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fault finding and maintenance on electrical systems and machinery
  • Working with PLCs, inverters, motors, pumps etc
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
  • Carrying out electrical and circuit modifications
  • Supporting production teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Taking ownership of continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability and efficiency

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Proven experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs and associated equipment
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and carry out modifications
  • Strong team player with good communication skills
