Zeta Global is seeking a talented and experienced Director, People Partner to join our global People & Culture team. This role will support Zeta’s highly dynamic talent in our EMEA locations. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this person will be integral in helping to foster a culture of belonging, innovation, collaboration, strong leadership, and high achievement where everyone has an opportunity to make an impact. This individual will serve as trusted partner in the employee experience by leading and owning end-to-end People support in the assigned client groups. They will provide consultative support and deliver People programs in the areas of leadership coaching, organizational design, employee relations, learning & development, benefits administration, compensation, and employee engagement. The right person will be comfortable in an all hands-on deck environment, love solving people problems, and can thrive in a fast-paced culture.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with leaders across EMEA on a range of topics including leadership capability, performance management, compensation planning and total rewards, talent development and retention, and org design.
- Build effective relationships with employees to best advocate for their needs and to provide growth and development feedback.
- Utilize people analytics and metrics to develop solutions and consultation that address gaps and capitalize on opportunities.
- Apply knowledge of employment law in necessary countries and exercise good judgement to effectively resolve employee relations issues in partnership with leaders and Legal partners when necessary.
- Maintain and update Zeta People policies and employment laws in countries in which this position supports.
- Update handbooks and internal communications and deliver to employees.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Partner with external counsel as needed/required.
- Partner with other members of the global People team to help develop and/or lead global People programs, processes, and employee communications.
- In conjunction with global initiatives, lead local culture-building efforts for employee wellbeing, DEI, philanthropy, and team building.
- Manage employee benefits programs and vendor relationships for assigned countries.
- Provide oversight to monthly payroll processing and other necessary administrative processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources/People & Culture field with at least 2 years as a business partner in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Understand how to consult leaders and employees rooted in company virtues to influence behaviours.
- Strategic thinking and creative problem solving.
- Must exhibit initiative and ownership.
- Ability to influence and manage change.
- Experience working cross functionally with all areas of the People Team with demonstrated collaboration skills.
- High level of business acumen.
- Understand significance of employee engagement on business outcomes and how to attract, motivate and retain high-performing employees.
- High level of conflict resolution skills.
- Project and program management experience.
- Must be willing to travel as much as 30%.
