Our client, an interior design studio South of Buckinghamshire dedicated to high-end residential fittings throughout the UK, are momentarily hiring for a creative and experienced MidWeight level Interior Designer to join the team. Working to deliver a wide range of luxury projects from concept design through to FF&E selection and the production of detailed design intent information and presentations, you will be responsible for tracking the production of all drawings and other information required by the architects and contractors to get the work done. Projects include both residential and commercial, varying from high-end residential interior architecture and FF&E to consultancy & styling for luxury retail showrooms and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Give regular updates on your projects and progress.
- Support the design team on projects from concept to completion.
- Create all appropriate project documentation.
- Produce bespoke, authentically crafted joinery and furniture concept drawings.
- Produce FF&E, Finishes, Soft Furnishings, Styling and Lighting proposals.
- Create mood and material boards.
- Create client presentations.
- Regular onsite visits and team coordination.
About You
- Minimum experience of 3-5 Years Designing luxury projects & managing through concept to completion.
- Excellent Sketch up & visualisation skills to create room plans, sections & elevations.
- Extensive experience in FFE design & procurement.
- Ability to work individually & as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Capability to document all stages of client meetings, feedback & sign offs.
- Proven strong portfolio of work.
- Be confident in using SketchUp, Adobe, AutoCAD, Indesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office, Word & Excel.
- Happy travelling domestically and internationally to site visits and relevant installations.
- Prioritise workload accordingly and efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new design techniques.
