What you'll need:

  • At least 2 years' worth of industry experience
  • A degree level qualification in an appropriate engineering or science discipline
  • IT proficiency, and technical report writing abilities
  • Experience with Holebase SI, Surfer, MS Project - preferable
  • Experience using CAD or GIS with geotechnical software such as PDisp / GEO5 or similar
  • Full UK Driving license

Duties:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing site investigations and conducting site appraisals, including reviewing third-party information. You will undertake desk studies, land contamination assessments, remediation strategies, and validation work as needed. Your duties will include interpreting data and writing reports to a professional standard, as well as undertaking human health risk assessments, controlled water risk assessments, and preferably detailed quantitative risk assessments. Additionally, you will be involved in foundation design, slope stability assessments, and settlement analysis. Effective project management is crucial, ensuring that projects are delivered within the required scope of work and budget.
