Zest4Talent are working with a highly respected sustainability and building services consultancy in Nottingham who are looking to appoint a Senior Energy Assessor / NDEA Level 5 Assessor to join their growing sustainability team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA Level 5), or someone operating at this level, with strong expertise in IES modelling, Part L compliance and Part O assessments within the built environment sector.

Senior Energy Assessor – Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Part L assessments and compliance modelling
- Carry out Part O overheating assessments
- Lead and manage complex projects using IES VE software
- Provide technical expertise across building performance and energy modelling
- Support and mentor junior energy assessors and graduates
- Contribute to service development and potentially introduce additional sustainability services
- Work collaboratively within the Nottingham office three days per week
Candidates with M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) knowledge or experience working alongside building services engineers will be at an advantage, though this is not essential.
Skills & Experience Required
- NDEA Level 5 qualified (or operating at Level 5 standard)
- Strong experience in IES modelling
- Solid understanding of Part L, Part O and UK Building Regulations
- Experience within a sustainability consultancy or building services environment
- Ability to hit the ground running and manage projects independently
- Leadership or mentoring experience desirable
