Zest4Talent are working with a highly regarded sustainability consultancy near Watford who are looking to appoint a Sustainability Consultant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with 2–3 years’ experience in sustainability consultancy to develop across a broad range of services including BREEAM assessments, Whole Life Carbon (WLC), HQM, and wider energy and sustainability consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and support BREEAM assessments and associated services
- Gain exposure to Whole Life Carbon (WLC), HQM and sustainability certifications
- Work on a range of energy and sustainability consultancy projects
- Attend and contribute to client meetings, design team workshops and project reviews
- Produce high-quality technical reports, sustainability statements and assessments
- Manage your own project workload while supporting senior consultants
- Coordinate project documentation and ensure deadlines are met
- Support wider project management and client-facing activities
This role provides a well-rounded consultancy position, offering exposure beyond BREEAM into carbon, planning, and sustainability strategy.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years’ experience in sustainability consultancy or building services
- Experience working on BREEAM projects (accreditation desirable but not essential)
- Interest or experience in Whole Life Carbon (WLC), HQM, or energy modelling
- Strong communication, organisational and report writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
