We're working with a well-established and forward-thinking consultancy to recruit a Senior Heritage & Cultural Project Manager to join their growing London team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something genuinely exciting, joining a business with a strong reputation in the sector and playing a key role in shaping and growing a team delivering some of the UK's most interesting heritage and cultural projects.
The Role
You’ll lead the delivery of capital projects ranging from £500k to £40m across the heritage and cultural sectors. This includes working on high-profile refurbishments, conservation projects and new developments, managing projects from early-stage concept through to completion.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading projects across all stages, particularly RIBA Stages 1 & 2
- Managing clients, consultants and contractors
- Overseeing programme, risk and financial management
- Chairing meetings and driving project delivery
- Supporting junior team members and contributing to team growth
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in heritage and/or cultural projects (essential)
- Strong background in project delivery across refurbishment, conservation or new build
- Experience of contract administration (JCT and/or NEC)
- Confident managing stakeholders, clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience across the full project lifecycle
- Ideally chartered (MRICS, MCIOB) or working towards
