This role involves provision of engineering support, maintaining adequate cover, and ensuring all plant / machinery is kept in working order. You will be leading a proactive, experienced engineering team in the provision of both planned and reactive maintenance engineering activities.
This role will suit a motivated engineering supervisor or senior engineer who is keen to lead a team in the upkeep of high speed automated machinery.
Role Description- Leading the team in the provision of Planned and reactive maintenance engineering activities across a range of manufacturing machinery.
- Planning of engineering work to be carried out.
- Providing skilled 'hands on' mechanical / electrical fault-finding support.
- Ensuring all engineering records are accurately completed and recorded.
- Ensure engineers are trained in Health & Safety practices.
- Contributing to engineering improvement ideas.
- Engineering Team Leading experience.
- Qualified to Level 3+ in an engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Ability to lead and manage a team of maintenance engineers.
- Experience of working within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills.
