We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Process Technologist to join a well-established and growing food manufacturing business based in Somerset. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in food production, NPD, or process development who is looking to further their career within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As Process Technologist, you will play a key role in supporting the successful launch and scale-up of new and existing products into manufacturing. Working closely with Production, Technical, Quality and NPD teams, you will help ensure products are launched efficiently, meet customer specifications and are produced to the highest quality and food safety standards.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing factory trials and first production runs
- Troubleshooting process issues
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within a chilled food manufacturing environment and possess strong organisational and communication skills. You will be proactive, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects within a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food safety and quality systems would be highly advantageous.
