Purpose of job:
Our aim is to become a market leader in the provision of Electric Vehicle charging solutions to Local Authorities and Businesses as part of our strategy to lead the transition to zero carbon.
The goal is to undertake an ambitious electric vehicle charging installation program, deploying high volume and quality EV installations. Our aim is to make the world a better place, one charge point at a time.
The Site Supervisor will work within Zest’s Operations team to supervise the onsite construction of multiple EV projects to completion. Reporting into the Operations Director, the Site Supervisor will be responsible for smooth delivery of the installations according to our client’s requirements. This role will see the supervisor undertaking CDM duties as principal contractor, such as monitoring the construction phase and ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to. Our deployment program is focused on providing exceptional customer experience from day one.
The role works closely with the technical delivery managers, contractors to make our installs happen safely and efficiently.
Suitable candidates will be based in or around South London.
Key Accountabilities:
The role is responsible for the following:
- Ensure safety is put first at on site installations and during maintenance.
- Supervise the installation of our charge points including hardware, software and Service, Maintenance & Repair requirements as per the CDM duties of principle contractor
- Liaising with third-party contractors, to deliver quality, on time and at the agreed cost.
- Development and delivery of commercially viable EV charging solutions at pace and in line with our wider goals and objectives.
- Support the Operations and Technical Directors and other local/regional stakeholders to develop the deployment strategy and lead the technical implementation of sites within your region.
- Reporting on progress of sites and installations within remit.

- Experience of site supervision
- BS7671 18th edition wiring regulations and EVCP installation code of practice
- EV equipment knowledge

- Knowledge / awareness of the building and CDM regulations
- H&S experience
- IT skills and excel knowledge
- General commercial awareness
- A good level of numeracy and attention to detail
