Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Perform root cause analysis on component failures and implement improvement measures.
  • Respond to and resolve electrical and mechanical breakdowns, including fault-finding.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Plan and execute small-scale engineering projects.
  • Specify and source replacement parts and equipment.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong electrical & mechanical knowledge, preferably within food manufacturing.
  • Clear and confident communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • City & Guilds qualified or time-served multi-skilled engineer.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems is advantageous.
  • Fabrication and welding experience is beneficial.
  • Proven experience in multi-skilled engineering roles.
