Position: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Cornwall (Commutable from Bodmin, Truro, Newquay, Stikult, Looe, Lostwithiel and surrounding areas)
Shift: Monday – Friday
Salary: £45,000 – £47,000
The Opportunity
Due to growth within the business an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a rapidly growing, well-established manufacturing site. You\’ll be part of a friendly, experienced engineering team supporting production across high-volume processing operations.
The Role
Working on a double day shift, you\’ll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement across achuhe modern manufacturing equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical & mechanical maintenance on production machinery
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on automated and semi-automated equipment
- Work with PLCs, sensors, motors, and control panels
- Support continuous improvement and efficiency projects
- Ensure all work complies with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Accurately complete maintenance records and documentation
