Job Description

Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer
Location: Commutable from King\’s Lynn, Wisbech, Downham Market, Swaffham, Norwich, Fakenham, Spalding, Peterborough, Thetford, Hunstanton, Ely, March, Dereham.
Shifts Available:

  • 3s & 2s
  • 4 on / 4 off

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join a well-established food manufacturing environment.
You\’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment, supporting continuous operations, and ensuring product safety and output are kept to the highest standard. This is a hands-on role where you\’ll play a key part in reducing downtime, delivering engineering projects, and driving performance across the site.
The Role

  • Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns, prioritising your production area.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and troubleshoot reoccurring faults.
  • Fault find efficiently using machine history, documentation, and diagnostic tools.
  • Work closely with production teams, building strong relationships and supporting smooth operations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and proactively reduce engineering downtime.
  • Deliver engineering project work as required.
  • Carry out any other relevant engineering duties when needed.
