A popular food business is looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager. You will be an advocate for high Food Safety standards, a driver of continuous improvement, and have solid knowledge of BRC, retailer COPs, customer requirements, and specifications. The role will take ownership of the QMS, ensuring compliance, maintaining standards, and supporting customer relationships across the business. You should be a confident communicator with the ability to adapt quickly in an evolving market.

Responsibilities

  • Management of internal QMS, non-conformances, investigations and sustainable corrective actions implemented
  • Effective management and communication of detailed reports/updates on performance
  • Supporting the Technical team in HACCP studies, reviewing records for compliance to procedures and updating where required
  • Online portals review and updates
  • Key contact for customer and suppliers for quality issues

Qualifications

  • UK Food Manufacturing experience required
  • Food Related Degree Level or an equivalent standard qualification
  • HACCP qualifications
  • Lead Auditor qualifications desirable
  • Displays genuine commitment, communicates with confidence with all levels from factory teams and senior management to customers.
