Purpose of job: Our aim is to become a market leader in the provision of Electric Vehicle charging solutions to Local Authorities and Businesses as part of our strategy to lead the transition to zero carbon. The goal is to undertake an ambitious electric vehicle charging installation program, deploying high volume and quality EV installations across the nation. Our aim is to make the world a better place, one charge point at a time.
The Marketing Executive works within Zest’s Marketing team to support in the delivery of marketing projects and activities as part of the marketing campaigns and strategy. The role works with the Marketing team and other departments to achieve wider company goals.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and improve existing marketing strategies
- Consult market research to assess current trends and brand awareness
- Help organise and implement market research to produce relevant marketing information
- Network with suppliers, partner organisations, public and local authorities, contractors, and other parties
- Help produce company marketing materials and literature in various mediums
- Monitor and maintain company branding to ensure consistency of brand image
- Producing metrics and performance reports
- Monitor marketing trends, analysis of market activities to identify further opportunities
- Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure tasks are completed and campaigns delivered on time
- Support with the management and content for social media channels
- Plus, any other duties as required by the leadership team

- Contribute to campaign activities that support the company’s strategy
- Deliver campaign outcomes that meet or exceed objectives
- Improve communications and latest market context within the marketing team
Key Relationships:
- Internal: Chief Marketing Officer, Marketing Director, Marketing Manager, Chief Development Officer, Operations Director, other members of marketing team, People Director
- External: Key external partners, external agencies, local authorities, external publications
Knowledge and Skills:
- Previous experience working in Marketing (either internship or 1 years’ experience as a Marketing Executive) is desirable
- Experience of working with market research data, data analysis and statistics
- Experience of using marketing software, tools, and apps
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
