Location: Cambridgeshire (commutable from March, Wisbech, Chatteris, Ely, Peterborough and Huntingdon)

Looking to come off shift work? This could be the perfect move. We're recruiting an Improvement Engineer for a manufacturing site in Cambridgeshire, working Monday to Friday days only.

The Role

  • Lead continuous improvement projects to boost machine reliability and reduce downtime
  • Analyse breakdown and performance data to identify root causes and long-term fixes
  • Work alongside maintenance and production teams to implement engineering improvements
  • Support and coach the maintenance team on best practice
  • Get involved in capital projects and equipment upgrades

What We're Looking For

  • Engineering qualification (NVQ, HNC, degree, or equivalent) with a multi-skilled maintenance background
  • Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • A proactive, analytical mindset with a track record of driving improvement
  • Strong communication skills to influence at all levels
  • Looking for a move away from shift work into a Monday - Friday role
