Zest have partnered with a well-established, fast-paced food manufacturing site currently expanding our engineering team, and we are looking for three Maintenance Engineers to join the team! Why three? Because business is booming, internal promotions are creating new openings, a brand-new production line is being installed, and there is continued growth across the site. It’s a genuinely exciting time to come on board.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in keeping the site running safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards! You’ll be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across plant machinery and services, minimising downtime, and supporting the wider engineering and production teams to hit their goals.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive/corrective maintenance across site machinery and services
- Fault finding and rectifying issues quickly and efficiently to minimise production downtime
- Completing on-site checks including effluent plant and boiler checks
- Keeping the CMMS system fully updated and accurate
- Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across the site
