The Role
A proactive, automation-focused Maintenance Engineer position within a fast-paced FMCG environment. The role centres on ensuring reliable operation of automated equipment through planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and continuous improvement activity.
You will work across electrical, mechanical, and control systems, supporting production efficiency while improving overall equipment reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on automated systems
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems
- Support root cause analysis and reliability improvements
- Assist with continuous improvement and minor project work
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS systems
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site standards

- Multi-skilled - electrical or mechanical bias
- Level 2 (or equivalent) engineering qualification minimum
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or automated environments
- Strong fault-finding and PPM experience
