Day Shift Engineer
Salary: £49,000 Shift Pattern: Days, 4 on / 4 off (average 42 hours per week) Location: Lincolnshire (on-site) Contract: Permanent
Our client runs a very successful food processing plant in Lincolnshire. They're looking for a Day Shift Engineer to join their engineering team on a permanent, days-only 4 on / 4 off pattern.
The Role
- Carry out PPMs on a variety of equipment across the site - Respond to breakdowns, find the fault and get equipment back up and running quickly - Work alongside production to keep lines running at their best - Close out work orders and keep maintenance records accurate and up to date - Get to the root cause of repeat issues and help improve reliability over time

Advanced technology in a busy food processing plant, working as part of a close-knit shift with great camaraderie.
What We're Looking For
- A multi-skilled engineering background, covering both electrical and mechanical - A relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent apprenticeship)
Nice To Have
- An electrical qualification - Recent food, FMCG or pharmaceutical experience
