Zest, a youth arts charity & limited company, is seeking three new Trustees with experience in finance, risk, governance, fundraising or advocacy to help us deliver our ambitious 2026 - 2030 business plan. We are based in Lincolnshire but work nationally.
What difference will you make? Our Trustees play a critical role in helping the organisation stay ambitious, grounded, and genuinely accountable to young people. As we grow, we’re particularly keen to hear from people who can bring strategic thinking and challenge around:
- finance & business
- fundraising, philanthropy & income diversification
- risk
- governance
- advocacy
What matters most isn’t whether you’ve been a Trustee before – it’s how you think, how you listen, and whether you care about doing this work with integrity.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Advocacy
- Finance & Business
- Fundraising & Philanthropy
- Risk & Governance
What will you be doing? Zest Theatre is registered as both a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity. Board members are therefore Directors of the Company and Trustees of the Charity. The Board is responsible for the charity, ensuring that programming, strategic, and operational decisions are in line with the organisation's objectives and are operated within the legal requirements. The Board of Trustees meets virtually quarterly, plus one in-person Board Away day each year – usually in Lincoln. Trustees may be invited to join a sub-committee, contribute to working groups or bring individual expertise to specific time-limited projects. We encourage applications from across the country. You don’t need to be based in Lincoln, and you don’t need to have been a Trustee before.
