Packaging Development Manager Leeds | Hybrid Working (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH) Are you an experienced Packaging professional looking for an opportunity to drive innovation, sustainability and continuous improvement within a leading FMCG environment? We are recruiting for a Packaging Development Manager to join a fast-paced and highly collaborative business based in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong FMCG packaging experience - ideally within food manufacturing - who enjoys taking projects from concept through to factory implementation. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, developing and implementing packaging solutions that add value across branded, own-label and co-pack products. You'll be responsible for managing packaging projects through the full development lifecycle, coordinating supplier and factory trials, agreeing specifications, supporting production launches and ensuring packaging materials remain compliant with relevant legislation and customer requirements. The role will also involve working closely with external suppliers, OEMs and retail customers to ensure the business remains at the forefront of packaging technologies and emerging market trends. This position would suit someone who is commercially aware, technically strong and confident managing multiple projects within a complex FMCG manufacturing environment. You will need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to influence both internally and externally. To be considered, you should have proven packaging development experience within FMCG manufacturing, ideally food or drink Experience delivering packaging change programmes, leading trials and driving continuous improvement initiatives is essential.
