Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer looking for a role where your expertise will make a real difference? Following internal promotions and ongoing growth, Zest are seeking a skilled engineer to strengthen a supportive and growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern production equipment and a wide range of machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll play a key role in maintaining site performance, driving improvements, and ensuring the highest standards of reliability and efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
- Mechanical maintenance of motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.
- Electrical work on motors, sensors, valves, control gear, servos, instrumentation, power distribution and safety systems
- Fault-finding, root cause analysis and delivering effective fixes
- Selecting the right parts and coordinating with stores to maintain stock levels
- Suggesting improvements to boost uptime, safety and quality across the plant
- Providing technical support to operators and assisting with commissioning new equipment
- Maintaining control and weighing equipment
- Follow a Monday - Friday double days shift (Cover 1 weekend in 3)
What We're Looking For:
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship or HNC/HND in Engineering
- Confident using CMMS systems
- Background in the food sector (desired)
- Experience with automated machinery
- Strong diagnostic skills and effective corrective maintenance
- Ability to read electrical & mechanical drawings
