Shift: 12 hour shifts (Covering Days & Nights)
Zest have teamed up with a highly established manufacturing company. Due to a growth in the business, they are now looking to take on an experienced Engineer to lead and manage the day-to-day operations on site.
Key Responsibilities- Working closely with the engineering manager to lead and manage the day to day running of the maintenance team.
- Attend both planned and reactive maintenance of food processing machinery.
- Provide support and guidance to engineers and the operations team.
- Offer support and guidance on breakdowns and offering backing when needed.
- Complete shift handovers, update breakdown boards, and create reports for effective transitions.
- City & Guilds/Level 3 NVQ minimum in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience managing others in a fast-paced production environment, including performance management.
- Background in working with food or manufacturing environment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
