As the Hygiene Manager, you will lead the hygiene function across the site and report directly to the General Manager. You\’ll be responsible for maintaining the highest hygiene and food safety standards, ensuring the site is always audit-ready, and supporting the delivery of key performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage the site hygiene team to deliver exceptional standards.
-Drive and maintain hygiene performance across all areas of the factory.
-Ensure customer and retailer standards are met and exceeded.
-Guarantee the site is audit ready at all times.
-Manage the site hygiene budget, including the ordering of chemicals and PPE.
-Plan and lead all deep cleaning activities across the site.
-Collaborate closely with the Technical team to continuously improve hygiene practices.
-Champion best practices in line with BRC, HACCP, and customer requirements.
Essential Requirements:
-Proven experience in a managerial hygiene role within a food manufacturing environment.
-Strong knowledge and understanding of BRC and HACCP.
-Previous exposure to retailer standards and customer audits.
-Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
-Forward-thinking mindset, focused on continuous improvement and results.
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
