Job Description Engineering Lead\n \nCommutable from Littleport, Ely, Downham Market, March, Chatteris, Soham and Wisbech\n \nSalary: £50,000 - £55,000, plus an attractive benefits package\n \nHours: 4 days per week, Monday to Friday, with a rotating rest day. Core hours 6:30am to 5:30pm, plus 1-in-4 weekends (Sat/Sun, 7:00am to 3:30pm)\n \nWe're recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business for a hands-on Engineering Lead to head up a team of engineers and drive reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the site.\n \nYou'll lead day-to-day maintenance activity, work closely with production to improve plant performance, and build a proactive maintenance culture across the team.\n \nLeading and developing a team of engineers\n \nOverseeing preventative maintenance and providing breakdown support (electrical and/or mechanical)\n \nDriving continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and performance\n \nLeading engineering projects, from concept through to implementation\n \nCoordinating priorities with production and managing contractor relationships\n \nCoaching and mentoring the wider team, and upholding safe systems of work\n \nWhat we're looking for:\n \nExperience leading or mentoring an engineering team\n \nStrong electrical and/or mechanical knowledge, with a hands-on approach\n \nGood communication and stakeholder management skills\n \nA Level 3 Engineering qualification (Mechanical or Electrical)\n \nGet in touch with Oli Edwards to find out more: 01780 483 999 /\n \nAs you know over here at Zest we like to do things properly and always want to keep you, the candidate in the loop.
