The Opportunity
Due to an increase in production leading to an expansion within the business, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a rapidly growing, well‑established manufacturing site. You will be part of a friendly, experienced engineering team supporting production across high‑volume processing operations.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on production machinery
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on automated and semi‑automated equipment
- Work with PLCs, sensors, motors, and control panels
- Support continuous improvement and efficiency projects
- Ensure all work complies with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Accurately complete maintenance records and documentation
About you
- Background in manufacturing (food ideal, but not essential)
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
- Comfortable working days and nights
