Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and much-loved food business in Hull for an NPD Technologist to join their growing development team.

Working Monday to Friday, 08:00‑17:00, you will be joining a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment where every week brings a new brief, a new flavour, or a new challenge to get stuck into.
Responsibilities
- Turn customer briefs into exciting new products, ensuring shelf‑life, testing, and cooking instructions meet requirements.
- Collaborate with the NPD Chef to develop new recipes that balance great taste with practical realities of consumer, customer, business, commercial, operational, nutritional and process development needs.
- Generate detailed and accurate trial reports and records.
- Keep up to date with customer codes of practice and brand standards.
- Maintain awareness of packaging developments, liaising directly with suppliers.
- Participate in benchmarking panels, sharing findings with colleagues and customers.

- Experience in an NPD environment within UK food manufacturing.
