Senior Director of Product Design & Brand

We’re partnering with a profitable, international fintech generating $100m+ in annual revenue. It serves millions of customers across consumer, business and developer products and runs deliberately lean, with a team of a few hundred.
You’ll report directly to the CEO, a former CPO and sit on the wider leadership team. There’s a clear path to Chief Design Officer as the function grows.
The role
You’ll set design direction across a consumer app used by millions, a developer API, treasury tools and newer digital money products, making them feel like one company while serving each audience well.
You’ll lead a team of around 10 across product design, brand and localisation, raising quality through how the team works before making the case for new hires.
You’ll stay close to the work, coaching the team and prototyping the highest-stakes journeys yourself.
You’ll bring
- Significant experience leading and developing product design teams. Having led brand or creative teams too is a strong plus
- A track record simplifying complex B2C transactional products, owning outcomes with engineering and data
- Comfort moving between consumer, developer and B2B experiences in the same week
- Fintech or payments experience helps but isn’t essential if you’ve worked on similarly high-trust consumer/transational products
- Strong visual storytelling and the confidence to influence a CEO and win contentious calls
