Founding Product Designer – £110k–£140k + Equity – AI Startup

We’re partnering with a VC-backed startup at the forefront of the autonomous era. Fresh off a £7M Seed round from a top-tier investor, they're building groundbreaking AI and geospatial software that powers how sensors, robots, and autonomous systems operate in real-world environments.

The Role

You’ll design the core product from scratch, define design standards, and work closely with founders, engineers, and users. You’ll help shape product strategy – while rolling up your sleeves to craft world-class interfaces. This is a mix of hands-on design leadership and scrappy IC work, ideal for someone who thrives in both execution and vision.

What You’ll Do

• Own the full design process, from research and wireframes to polished UI.
• Build the design system and lay the foundations for design at scale.
• Collaborate tightly with engineers and customer teams to ship fast.
• Lead discovery with users to solve complex, often hardware-integrated problems.
• Shape design culture and help grow the team as the company scales.

What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years designing complex products (software or software/hardware).
• Strong portfolio showing visual craft, systems thinking, and UX leadership.
• Proven ability to lead research and define design processes in fast-paced environments.

Other Info

• They work in the Central London office 3-4 times a week but open to just 3 days/week if that's the max a candidate can do.
