Role Description
The Property Manager role at Zest Property Management is an on-site position based in Manchester. In this role, the Property Manager oversees day-to-day operations of HMO properties, including coordinating maintenance, managing tenant enquiries, and ensuring health and safety standards are met. Responsibilities include arranging inspections, handling check-ins and check-outs, monitoring rent payments, and maintaining accurate property records. The role also involves liaising with contractors, supporting regulatory and licensing compliance, and working with internal teams to deliver a positive tenant experience and strong landlord relationships.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in property management, facilities management, or a related field, ideally with HMO or multi-tenant properties.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to oversee multiple properties, tasks, and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with tenants, landlords, contractors, and local authorities.
- Knowledge of relevant housing regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements in the UK, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Proficiency with property management systems and standard office software, with attention to detail in documentation and record-keeping.
- Ability to resolve problems independently, manage conflicts, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid right to work in the UK; a full UK driving licence and access to transport are beneficial for site visits.
- Relevant education or training in real estate, housing management, business, or a comparable discipline is an advantage.
