We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and highly organised Office & Facilities Assistant to join our lovely offices in Bournemouth.
Hours: 2-3 days per week (we’re happy to be flexible)
Salary: £14,000 p/a
In this key role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day facilities activity across our two sites in Poole Road, Bournemouth, ensuring our buildings along with our culture delivers an exceptional standard of service to our employees. From managing reactive requests to liaising with internal teams and external partners, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our company running smoothly.
This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering excellence. Strong organisation, clear communication, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities will be essential for success.
How you’ll drive success:- Maintaining office organisation and tidiness (kitchens, meeting rooms, desks, storage cupboards, notice boards, etc.)
- Coffee machine cleaning and maintenance
- Laundry drops and collections
- Assisting with equipment, furniture, and desk moves
- Waste and carpark management
- Office stock management and purchasing (including refreshments, cleaning supplies, first aid kits etc)
- Organisation and ordering of stationary supplies
- Stocktake and organisation of Zest employee apparel stock
- Proactively monitoring the condition of the workspaces, reporting any building, maintenance or occupational health and safety issues.
- Acting as a People team member, assisting with setting up company events, team meetings and other employee engagement activities
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage changing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident working with multiple stakeholders, including internal teams and external contractors
- Ability to work on own initiative while remaining a strong team player
- Self-motivated, a proactive problem solver and an enthusiastic contributor to our company culture
- Good IT skills (training provided for bespoke systems)
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
