The Role
- Your week will be deliberately split to give you balance and variety:
- Out in the field: Accompanying the Optometrist on care-home visits, supporting patients with frame selection, dispensing advice and personalised recommendations.
- Office-based days: Coordinating lens and frame orders, liaising with suppliers, updating families on progress and ensuring every dispense is delivered accurately, smoothly and on time.
You'll play a key role in ensuring continuity of care from consultation through to delivery and aftercare.
About You
- GOC-registered Dispensing Optician
- Comfortable working independently and out in the community
- Patient-focused, personable and organised
- Enjoys variety and building genuine relationships with patients
- Full driving licence preferred due to domiciliary work
