We are currently working alongside a well-established independent practice in Hastings, East Sussex to recruit an Optometrist into their team. With a reputation for offering the highest level of care, they are looking for somebody who shares their passion for creating a unique experience for each patient who visits.

Optometrist - Role

  • Well established independent with a loyal patient base of all ages
  • Excellent 5 patient reviews
  • Work alongside an experienced team
  • Single tests 6 days a week
  • 50 minute appointments
  • Advanced equipment - OCT and Optomap
  • Fields done by support team
  • Complex contact lens fits - Ortho K
  • Specialist clinics - Colourimetry, dry eye, myopia management
  • Paperless - Optix
  • Assisting outside of the testing room - interacting with the team, training etc
  • Full or part time
  • No Sundays and flexibility on Saturdays
  • 9am to 5.30pm (4pm on a Sat)
  • Salary between £50,000 to £70,000 DOE
  • Professional fees covered

Optometrist - Requirements

  • GOC registered Optometrist
  • Ideally 2+ years experience, but newly qual will also be considered
  • Strong clinical focus with a commercial understanding
  • Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
