Zest Optical are currently working with an independent Opticians based in Bedlington to recruit a part-time Optometrist. This is a great opportunity to join a practice with a strong reputation for clinical excellence, offering a relaxed working environment and a healthy work-life balance with no weekends or late nights.
Optometrist - The Role
- Part-time position - 2 days per week (ideally Monday and Friday)
- Practice open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm
- No weekends, late nights or bank holidays
- 30-minute testing times to provide patients with a thorough and personal service
- Equipped with an Auto Refractor and DRS Fundus Camera
- Supportive, experienced team and a friendly patient base
- Independent practice focused on quality rather than volume
Optometrist - Requirements
- Fully qualified and GOC registered Optometrist
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Passionate about delivering high-quality eye care
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to commit to the agreed 2-day schedule
